Each week we like to spotlight one of the incredible female athletes that make up our team. Today we are highlighting Hartley. Hartley is a dental hygienist who lives locally in Salt Lake City. She has been a member of our team since October 2017. She has been working with her primary coach, Anneke in our Ladies Lift program and is making tremendous progress!

 


 

What Brought Her to Fitbliss

I wanted to learn the proper way to lift so I could be healthy and have the knowledge for the future.

 

Her Hobbies & Interests

I love going on walks with my 2 fur babies Kaya and Pippa, dancing, and watching survivor. (I will be on that show one day!)

 

Favorite Lift

I love squats, always working on that perfect peach booty.

 

Women who inspire her

Anneke, Lynndsey, Hilary, Katie, Megan, Sami, Sara, Sharon, and Taylor (basically all of my Ladies Lift coaches). I love that these women CARE about helping other women be their best selves. They don’t just train you, they give you the tools that you can use for a lifetime! They are nice, caring, healthy, strong, educated, independent, and truthful. They listen to you and they WANT you to do your best but they also know that not everyday is perfect.

My friend Annie has been another inspiration. She pushes me to be better than I was. She is positive and motivates me to be my best self!

 

What She Has Accomplished Since Starting With Fitbliss

My mental and emotional health have changed. Physically, my body is down 20+ lbs and my clothes fit amazing, but I am grateful for my self worth and self understanding. Fitbliss has taught me to love all of me- physically, mentally, and emotionally. It doesn’t matter what I look like or what I do because I know I am trying my best and giving it my all in all aspects of my life.

 

Favorite Macro-Friendly Food

I live for the Caramel Premier Protein drinks. Tastes like a milkshake with 30g of protein and I love sweets!

 

Biggest Takeaway From Working With Team Fitbliss

How to properly fuel my body with food. Learning about flexible dieting has changed my relationship with what I eat. No food is bad or good, food is fuel.

Upcoming Goals

I would like to be able to bench press my weight!
