Ainsley earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology in 2010 from the University of Utah. She later attended University of Southern California and graduated with a Master of Social Work in 2014. Since that time she has completed 4,000 post degree hours, passed her clinical exam and is practicing therapy as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She has worked with individuals with varying diagnoses including; Bipolar Disorder, Depression (including Postpartum), Anxiety, Trauma (PTSD), and Addiction. She has also treated individuals struggling with; Grief and Loss, Chronic Illness, and Suicidal Ideation. Recently, she has attended trainings to gain a better understanding of Eating Disorders/Body Image Disorders in order to provide therapy in an outpatient setting.
For several years, Ainsley has incorporated mind/body connection and various relaxation techniques in her therapeutic approach. She has seen positive outcomes for clients who utilize a nutrition and exercise program. Ainsley believes people are capable of overcoming the challenges they face in life when they have support from a therapist who draws from their core values and strengths.
