In a world full of busy schedules and people just waiting for turn to talk, it can be so comforting to feel both welcome and heard.  This is one of Coach Hill’s greatest attributes that can make anyone feel at ease when talking with her. What’s more, she is a well educated and experienced Exercise and Nutrition Coach with years of practical in gym Personal Training experience.

Hillary’s philosophy is to be adaptable to each individual’s needs and goals and to meet them at their starting point. Because every woman comes from a different background, has different abilities, understandings and needs, she believes no two clients are alike and thus communication and approach should be custom fit to each individual as well.

Hill considers herself more of a teacher than trainer.  Her goal is not just to put you through a workout, to tell you to get more protein and to take your money. She wants to make an impact on your life. She wants to teach you optimal form of each exercise and to explain how to do things like get more more protein. 

As competitive Powerlifter herself, Hill uses to free weights like barbells, kettlebells and dumbbells to coach functional movement and strength to clients starting at any level.

“I love teaching the Squat to a new lifter and watching their body adapt to this movement the we, as humans, were designed to perform. Before long, they are squatting weights they never imagined they could do.  That expression of confidence and accomplishment on their faces in that moment is my favorite part of being a coach.”  

Coach Hill coaches our Ladies Lift Barbell Classes, works one on one in clients in the gym and is a Fitbliss Online Coach specializing in Powerlifting, General Strength and Conditioning and Fat Loss.

Hill has a special interest in holistic health, mindfulness, whole foods nutrition and optimizing health on all levels. When not in the gym, Hill is most likely hiking in the mountains with her dogs and husband or working on her handmade soap business, Whet Stone Soapery.
