Fitbliss Woman of the Week
A little about her
I work as a professional development coach for a University in Admissions for Healthcare students. In my spare time I love to hike Utah’s beautiful mountains with my friends and family, and enjoy being in nature as much as possible.
What brought her to Team Fitbliss
I was referred to Fitbliss as a recommendation from a former director. My goal was to find a coach that I could trust to help me to understand how to improve my health, both mentally and physically, in a sustainable way.
Her favorite lift
This is a hard call, but I would say hip thrusts because they seem to have come so naturally and I know they are great for building the glutes!
Training has given me determination, focus, endurance, tolerance, motivation, patience, passion, energy, self-belief, self-love, and the energy to enjoy life’s adventures.
Building my inner strong has impacted my health, allowing my relationships to prosper, and has built patience and fortitude. This program has increased my effectiveness in accomplishing tasks in my professional work as a counselor, in my family, and personal relationships.
Someone who inspires her
When I think about being strong, it all comes down to being connected and living my personal values. When I was a kid, my father was an athlete. He was a gymnast in high school and served as a pilot in the US Navy. He was also a weight lifter and competed in body building competitions when I was a child.
My father was one of my first inspirations who helped me to discover that strong is beautiful. My dad was one of the hardest workers I know. He worked toward his passions and encouraged me to do the same.

Self respect and appreciation for all the ways my body supports me.

A struggle along the way
A struggle I had to overcome was an injury to my shoulder. I could not deadlift for months and it was very hard emotionally for me. It is easy to chase the next personal record, but really what matters most, is how you feel and being able to enjoy life. My goal is to be lifting into my later years in life while keeping my body strong and always listening to my intuition first.
Biggest takeaway from working with Team Fitbliss
The physical and mental fortitude that I have built by showing up day after day allows my mind to push past perceived failure and increase confidence to support my growing ambitions. This energy cultivated has supported my health, relationships, and career goals.
In the next 3 months my goal is to continue to perfect my form on squats and to set some new personal bests in my lifts.
