A little about her

I work in the financial side of healthcare. I set up health savings and flexible spending accounts for large companies. In my spare time I love to play video games, hike, snowboard, hang out with my pup, and go shopping.


What brought her to Team Fitbliss

Although I’ve always been active, I wasn’t feeling great about myself. I felt weak, I was tired all the time, and I wasn’t making any progress with what I was doing at the time. I really needed a change of pace. So one day I came across Coach Meg on Instagram and decided to reach out to her. Best decision ever!

Her favorite lift

Squats! Something about having heavy weight on your back is both really scary and really fun at the same time. Squats make me feel powerful and I wish I could squat every day!


What she has accomplished since joining our team

The biggest thing I’ve accomplished is finding food freedom. Meaning I no longer feel guilty about eating any kind of food on any occasion. I also competed in powerlifting this year and learned that I kinda love it!


Biggest takeaway from working with Team Fitbliss

That working out is not a punishment and I’m SO much more than my body. Strength really does come in all sizes. My body may go through various changes throughout my life but that’s okay. I want to value feeling healthy and strong above anything else.


Upcoming goals

I want to deadlift 300 or more by the end of the year and I just want to keep having fun in the gym while I prep for a powerlifting meet in  February 🙂


Something she’s overcome on her journey

Self doubt. Either before a big lift or reaching other fitness goals. I’m becoming more confident in myself and optimistic about the future. I’m just taking it one day at a time.
