WOMAN OF THE WEEK
A little about her
I am a Psychologist and Executive Coach. I own a specialty psychological clinic focused on the needs of women and also provide high-level coaching to business leaders. I am a voracious reader and am always digesting something. I have very few hobbies-I’m more of a passion gal. I love to read, hike, ski, paddle-board, and powerlift. I’m also deeply passionate about my work and spend a lot of time and energy focused on growing my businesses. I love my family and they keep me on my toes.
What brought her to Team Fitbliss
After being an endurance athlete for many years, I had a desire to focus on strength training and so after doing extensive research, I discovered Team Fitbliss and felt their philosophy would be an excellent fit for me.
Someone who inspires her
My maternal grandparents. They have always been a huge inspiration to me. They had a quiet strength and were always going about doing good. They were constantly learning, serving, and always made me feel like I was the most important person in the world to them. Every child should feel so fortunate.
Her favorite lift
I love to squat, mostly because it’s been a challenge since I’ve had two hip surgeries. I’m so thrilled with the work Lynndsey and I have done to dial in my form and get me to a point that my squat strength is solid and my hip is feeling better than ever.
What she has accomplished since joining our team
I don’t naturally move toward balance in my life, even though this is something I feel strongly about. The Fitbliss coaching has helped me build in daily and weekly accountability to help with balance in terms of nutrition, exercise balance, mobility, and rest and recovery.
Her favorite macro-friendly food
Premier Protein. I’m really busy so it would be impossible for me to hit my protein targets everyday without Premier Protein. Plus, they taste pretty good. They are my one macro staple that I can’t live without.
Biggest takeaway from working with Team Fitbliss
I’ve really appreciated how Lynndsey has introduced me to even more learning when it comes to understanding the role of fiber, micronutrients, and all the details of strength training. This has also really contributed to my professional work, which I’ve been very grateful for.
I would like to continue to be steady in the gym as I am launching a second business, keep my stress level in check, and rebuild strength on bench (coming back from an injury) while maintaining & building strength on other lifts.
