Each week we like to spotlight one of the incredible female athletes that make up our team. Today we are highlighting Sierra! Sierra is the office manager at New Look Siding LLC. She has been working with her primary coach Megan towards and has made impressive progress! Sierra recently competed in her first powerlifting meet and is one strong woman! We can’t wait to see what is in store for her in the future!

What Brought Her to Fitbliss

I had been lifting for three years without any proper training or coaching before I joined Team Fitbliss.

I came across some videos posted online of the conjugate training methods they used and it looked like so much fun!
I had already been experimenting with IIFYM for a couple years so when I found out that their nutrition was tailored to it too, I thought it would be a perfect fit. I’m so glad I joined, it’s been such an awesome community to be a part of!

Her Hobbies & Interests

I love spending time outdoors with my family and dogs. I’m a crazy dog momma to a mini Dachshund and an Australian Shepherd. We spend a lot of time on the lake boating in the summer.

Camping, riding dirt bikes, riding street bikes, and snowboarding are a few of my other favorites!

Favorite Lift

Deadlift is my favorite lift! I recently switched to sumo from conventional and it’s become my favorite and my strongest lift.

Someone Who Inspires Her

My dad – he has built a successful business and has the biggest heart. He always has an answer or five options from different perspectives when I ask for advice.

What She Has Accomplished Since Starting With Fitbliss

I competed in my first powerlifting meet in June. I was really out of my comfort zone with that but I’m so glad I did because I had so much fun and I look forward to doing another!

Favorite Macro-Friendly Food

Kodiak Cakes!

Biggest Takeaway From Working With Team Fitbliss

That patience and consistency is the key to any goal and that pushing yourself out of your comfort zone is really rewarding and will help you grow – as a lifter and as a person.

Upcoming Goals

Increase all of my lift PR numbers! I hope to be able to deadlift 300 and squat double my body weight.
