Kerrin Phillips is an IFBB Bikini Pro and has been coaching competitors and lifestyle clients since 2017. She is a NASM CPT with specializations in fitness nutrition, women’s fitness, and behavior change. Kerrin is also a 200 hour certified yoga teacher and has taught group boxing and weight lifting classes. She has a home garage gym that she trains out of. She enjoys continually upgrading her gym with the best equipment to the point where she will soon need a bigger garage!
Kerrin started prepping for her first NPC bikini competition in 2015 while working as a full time engineer. She loved the look of the bikini division and wanted to learn to transform her physique to meet that criteria after spending years running on the treadmill and not seeing the results she was looking for. She hired a coach and trainer after getting out of a toxic relationship and decided it was time to prove to herself she could complete a prep and step on stage. And that’s exactly what she did.
Kerrin found a passion for lifting weights and changing her physique through training and competing. She entered more shows throughout the years where she continued to learn, grow, and gain confidence in the sport of bodybuilding. She learned how to optimize her results by understanding and applying appropriate training programming and flexible nutritional methods to achieve healthy and sustainable physique improvements over time.
Kerrin won her IFBB pro card in 2018 after three years of competing with first place in her bikini class at NPC USA Nationals. She competed in her pro debut two weeks later at the IFBB Portland Classic in her hometown. She took some time off from the stage to start a family with the support of her husband she met through competing, and is excited to return to the stage as an IFBB bikini pro and mother of two boys! She is also excited to continue to coach athletes and lifestyle clients to look and feel their best through all stages of life!
In her spare time Kerrin enjoys spending time with her family, boating, baking, knitting and crocheting, reading, writing, and hiking. She and her husband love to travel, collect and customize cars, and workout together.
