Lynndsey Eldridge is one of the co-founders of Fitbliss Fitness. She started Fitbliss Fitness in 2012 after a negative coaching experience left her feeling unhealthy, tired, wired, and food-focused. She couldn't help but wonder, "shouldn't fitness feel good?"
As she started digging into scientific research available at the time, she realized that many of the common protocols of the industry and that were touted by popular magazines and TV shows were not only unfounded, but they were perpetuating practices that were especially harmful to the body, minds, and souls of women.
Lynndsey quickly became passionate about sharing the truth about getting healthy and fit with other women. She wanted others to know that reaching health and fitness goals could and should feel good– and the practices used should be backed by science!
She continued her independent research alongside obtaining her Certified Personal Trainer and Sports Nutrition Specialist certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Over the years, she has completed mentorships under specialists and expert coaches in Powerlifting, Bodybuilding Contest Prep, Hormone Health, Blood Work Analytics, and more.
As the years have passed, Lynndsey's passion and philosophy have spread to over 1,000 clients who have worked the Fitbliss program. By 2022, Fitbliss Fitness has grown into a team of 12 coaches, a Chief Science Officer, and a Licensed Therapist with a Registered Dietician coming on in 2022. Collectively the team has become well-known for its knowledge, expertise, and commitment to bettering its clients' lives in the long term.
Lynndsey lives in SLC, Utah, with her husband Zac and daughter Lucy. She and her husband own a well-known gym, Big Mountain Barbell, which they opened in 2014. Currently, Lynndsey's primary role is managing the behind-the-scenes of the Fitbliss team. However, she still works with a handful of lucky women in Utah and worldwide to help them find their 'Fitbliss.' As her client's coach and mentor her focus is on helping them find a more manageable and balanced fitness lifestyle that they can build on year after year.
In her spare time, Lynndsey loves to travel to beautiful areas in Utah, across the US, and around the World. She also competes as a Bikini athlete, Powerlifting athlete and enjoys hiking, running, and biking outdoors. Someday she would like to publish a completely non-fitness-related fiction book as one of her favorite pastimes is creative writing.
I love the approach that Fitbliss takes with their clients. I have been able to discover a way of eating that I will be able to do for a lifetime and am able to celebrate small victories over and over!
I would recommend the trainers to ANYONE even if you're just looking to be healthy and not to compete. They truly care about their clients and give them the tools and knowledge they need to be successful with whatever their goal may be!
